It’s a Beautiful Day: A Tribute to Fred Rogers
At Dickens, we are celebrating World Kindness Day through Songs of Hope and Kindness.
Join vocalist Audra Casebier as she takes us on a musical journey into a neighborhood of warmth and wonder that honors the enduring legacy of Fred Rogers.
"A Beautiful Day" is more than just a concert. It is a heartfelt celebration of the humble kindness that Mister Rogers championed for decades.
This World Kindness Day, come with empathy, a willingness to connect, and enjoy the simple power of being yourself. Featuring the captivating voice of Audra Casebier, this performance brings together the timeless music of Tony Bennett, Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, and Leonard Bernstein with stories and songs that reflect the values of the beloved Mr. Rogers.
Fred Rogers believed that "anything human is mentionable, and anything mentionable can be manageable," Audra brings a deep, personal philosophy to the stage. She believes that every voice is unique in its beauty and strength- a sentiment that reminds us of Mister Rogers' own thought that, "no one else in the world exactly like you."
