After his appearance on Penn & Teller’s Fool Us, Penn called Peter “one of the finest magicians alive today.” Peter Samelson insists that he doesn’t do magic; he only helps people to see it. He is an illusionist/entertainer/philosopher, blending simplicity and sophistication as he provokes thought and inspires wonder. A recent recipient of a Merlin Award for Lifetime Achievement, and christened “the soft-spoken conceptualist of sorcery” by the New York Times, Peter has distinguished himself not only as a magician, but as an artist. He has performed atop the Great Wall of China, for Mexican workers and Grand Prix drivers, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, the jet-set of Paris and the fishermen mending their nets on the beaches of Cartagena. Peter also designs for TV, film and theater. He created magic for Sam Mendes productions at BAM and the Old Vic (London) and recently for two Broadway shows, Leap of Faith and Harvey. Anthony Salazar developed his skill in the art of magic at a very young age and has since made this part of show business his life’s work. Anthony was born in the Philippines, and at the age of ten, moved to America where he would soon discover a book that would open his world to art of magic. At 13, he moved to a town with a nearby magic shop where he would spend hours every day learning his craft. After high school, he started performing full-time professionally and never looked back. He would go on to perform his carefully blended combination of comedy, illusions, and award-winning sleight-of hand for thousands. He also works as a magic consultant for commercials and television shows. Anthony has the ability to connect with crowds from millennials to baby boomers. His onstage personality is a combination of a slight edge and likability that wins over the hearts of audiences anywhere.
